Oris is one of a small handful of Swiss watch brands that makes only mechanical watches. A mechanical watch is a thing of beauty, designed according to principles that have been around for generations and will continue long into the future. For example, the in-house developed Calibre 400 Series of Swiss Made automatics promises a five-day power reserve, anti-magnetism and a 10-year warranty and 10-year recommended service intervals.

For over 118 years, Oris has been making purely mechanical watches in Hölstein, Switzerland. Oris watches are inventive and serve a real purpose. They are beautiful, superbly crafted, high functioning, and will be the best possible watch for the money.

Independence

Over the last 30 years, many Swiss watch companies have been absorbed into groups, but being part of a group has never been the Oris way. In 1904, our founders Georges Christian and Paul Cattin left Le Locle in the Swiss watchmaking heartland and when to Hölstein to find a new way. Their independence state of mind has never left Oris. It means Oris can make decisions for its customers and help Oris go its own way. Oris is not just independent, Oris is proudly, fiercely independent.
