In 1904, our founders Georges Christian and Paul Cattin left Le Locle in the Swiss watchmaking heartland and when to Hölstein to find a new way. Their independence state of mind has never left Oris. It means Oris can make decisions for its customers and help Oris go its own way. Oris is not just independent, Oris is proudly, fiercely independent.
